Is mahone responsible for Michaels premature death?

i have this question bugging me that if mahones hadnt informed the securtiy regarding the camera blindspot plan, michael would have been able to break sara out and maybe lived a bit longer?

oh wow.
he went all psycho after killing that oscar shales... i wonder if he can now live peacfully knowing that he is responsible for michaels death

this just makes the ending even more unfair and bizarre
